AFM filter media is used for water filtration purposes and it’s filtration down to 1um, AFM filter media is used in place of sand filter and last longer up to 3-4years lifespan on filtration. With good backwashing system AFM last longer and doesn’t allow biofilm to clog AFM filter media.
